WordPress

To use MAGIX theme you must have WordPress engine installed. We assume you have a working version of WordPress already up and running. We also encourage you to actively use the links below. These useful resources cover most of general WordPress questions you may have:

Server requirements

According to WordPress official web site, To run WordPress they recommended your host supports:

  • MySQL 5.6 or greater
  • PHP version 7.4 or higher (Recommended: PHP 8.0+ for better performance)
  • PHP memory limit 128M and max_execution_time 30

Install theme

WordPress

When purchasing MAGIX theme from Themeforest, you will be able to download Magix files from your Themeforest account. The main_files contains all files, you have to find magix.zip and upload it on your directory.

  • Unzip the downloaded package from Themeforest and inside it find the file ovix.zip
  • Login to your WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme and click Choose File Button.

Install Magix theme via WordPress.

  1. Unzip the downloaded package from Themeforest and inside it find the file magix.zip
  2. Login to your WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance > Themes > Add New >Upload Theme and click Choose File Button.

    4.After slelct “magix.zip” from your computer Click on “Install Now” button.

  1. Wait the theme being uploaded and installed.
  2. To activate the theme: Go to Appearance > Themes hover over the theme and and click Activate.

Install theme via FTP.

Follow the steps below to install theme via FTP.

  1. Log into your hosting space via an FTP software
  2. Unzip the magix.zip file and ONLY use the extracted magix theme folder
  3. Upload the extracted ovix theme folder into wp-content > themes folder
  4. Wait the theme being uploaded and installed.
  5. To activate the theme: Go to Appearance > Themes hover over the theme and and click Activate.
  6. Wait until WordPress redirect you to Welcome Page

Theme license activation

  1. Go to your themeforest account
  2. From menu click on Downloads
  3. Find your purchased item MAGIX
  4. Click on Download button
  5. Click on License certificate & Purchase code

  6. Open text file and copy purchase code

  7. Login to your site and go to MAGIX menu and activate your theme with license code
